At last we’ve had all the jabs for the trip the only thing missing is the cholera vaccine that we will have a few weeks before we take off.
I remember the day we walked into Louise’s (travel nurse) office and told her about the trip and the countries that we’re planning to visit. She had a leaflet with a list of vaccinations and she just said, “you will need the whole lot”. Some of the vaccinations were free of charge but a few we had to pay for and they were not cheap.
As we now have been to Louise quite a few times I have become aware that she is probably the most efficient person I know, at least in England and I mean this in a positive way as she is straight to the point no unnecessary chatting, instead you get a straight answer and gosh in what speed she gives you the jab you hardly noticed that it happened.
As I mentioned all jabs are nearly done. We would need to have another Tickborne but it needs to be 5 months between the second and third and we will not be able to do that either in England or in Sweden. We might try to find a place in Russia to have one but the two we’ve had so far will cover for a year and we should be out off tick borne areas by then.
Vaccinations
1 Yellow fever
2 Hepatitis A
3 Hepatitis B
1 Tetanus/Polio/Difteri
3 Rabies
1 Typhoid
2 Tickborne (will try to get the third in Russia)
1 Flu
2 Cholera “snaps”
